Google Chrome
September 4, 2008
Image via CrunchBase, source unknown Google launches the new Google Chrome which is a clear challenge to Microsoft.
This new browser is available as beta for 100 countries and will be free and open source.
I’m sure that this new browser will make some disturbances in the market and will help taking away the domain of Microsoft in this area.
If you want to try this new browser you just have to go to Google blog at www.google.com/chrome and download the program.
Good browsing with Google Chrome.

I use Chrome at work now and love it. There are some minor stability issues - it will stall from time to time - but if you just wait a moment, it usually rights itself. Like the Google home page, Chrome is bare and uncluttered. Very easy to work with.
I love this new browser, very stable and quick to load pages. One thing they could add in the next release is access to your google toobar bookmarks.
Other than that, great product, keep up the good work.
Open source and available for 100 countries, and yet they don’t have a version for mac.
there are so many advantages and features with Chrome, such as it’s speed, for example; now if only they would take care it’s quirky cookie management…
If Chrome had the same plugins as Firefox, I would definitely switch. I think it’s that good! I also like the built in incognito. Firefox has it with a plugin.
